3. Large appliances cycling on
If lights dim when your AC, dryer, or fridge starts, that’s a heavy load pulling power. Occasional dimming can be normal — but frequent, whole-house flickering points to a bigger issue.
4. Overloaded circuits
Too many devices on one circuit can cause flickering and tripped breakers. You may need a dedicated circuit — or more capacity from a panel upgrade.
5. Loose or outdated wiring
